Check Nookal's own tasks first

Nookal Tasks supports assigned staff, priorities, due dates and completion tracking. That may cover your everyday task needs already.1

CliniBase adds a place for reviewed practice guidance, source versions and linked learning. Its tasks stay in CliniBase; there is no Nookal task write-back or task mirroring claim.23

Connect deliberately

Ask Clini and process drafting depend on approval and practice/member settings. Keep patient identifiers, clinical instructions and confidential HR material in their appropriate systems.2

  • Use an admitted CliniBase practice and authorised Nookal API access for the supported connection.
  • Have an authorised owner or manager connect Nookal, then explicitly select the intended personal diary.
  • Decide where each type of task belongs before adding another list. CliniBase cannot synchronise its tasks back to Nookal.
  • Agree the editor, different authorised reviewer and staff learning roles before publishing instructions.

Use a confirmed gap for induction work

A fictional reception teammate has a 20-minute task: learn the approved opening checklist.

  1. Confirm

    Check the selected diary and that its saved availability is current.

  2. Plan

    Add the estimated task to a confirmed free slot in CliniBase.

  3. Learn

    Open the approved checklist and complete its assigned learning.

  4. Finish

    Mark the task complete. Nookal bookings remain unchanged.

Why use CliniBase if Nookal already has tasks?

You may not need to. Try CliniBase when approved guidance and training need to stay connected to work; keep Nookal tasks when they already solve the problem.

Does the connection include every Nookal dashboard?

No. Review the supported saved diary scope. Historical capacity measures remain Cliniko-specific.
