Practice software comparison
Zanda vs CliniBase: practice software and team operations
Zanda is practice management software with its own operations manual and automations. CliniBase organises nonclinical team work alongside supported practice software. Review Zanda's built-in tools first; CliniBase is not a replacement PMS.
Published by CliniBase, currently in early access. Based on official product information, not hands-on testing of other tools. CliniBase AI depends on practice permissions and processing settings.
Check what your PMS already covers
Power Diary is now called Zanda. Its product includes appointment management, client records, billing, communications and a configurable practice manual. The manual supports adding your own policies, permission-controlled editing and AI-assisted writing.123

For a practice already using Zanda
Start with a process such as reception opening or supplies ordering. Put the current instruction in Zanda's manual, agree its owner and check how staff find it. If that is reliable, another knowledge base may add maintenance without solving a problem.
If you still need reviewed versions, linked learning or internal work ownership, assess those steps individually. Do not assume that a second app will receive Zanda appointments or trigger Zanda automations. Decide where each instruction and task will be maintained before adopting it.
Ask for a changed-instruction walkthrough
- Use a fictional room-opening procedure and change its equipment check.
- Show who can edit, who reviews and where staff see the current version.
- Show how a new starter learns the change and how the manager checks follow-through.
- Compare that extra administration with the problem it resolves.
Practical questions
Is this also a Power Diary comparison?
Yes. Power Diary was renamed Zanda. This page uses its current name and reviews its currently advertised tools.
Do we need a separate practice wiki with Zanda?
Possibly not. Try its built-in manual first. Consider an additional system only when you can identify a specific gap in review, learning or team follow-through.
